You Been BUMT

I have been obsessing lately about the Best Use of My Time or BUMT.

Mastery requires practice, projects require presence, creation is time consuming.

This post is definitely not BUMT. Maybe yours aren’t either.

“Best Use of My Time” – I like it! It is something I consider very frequently. Sometimes I can clearly see my priorities and hence know where my time needs to go. This week I have had a chance to catch up on those nagging tasks and now have to consider BUMT again. This time it is a good thing!

This can be a BUMT as it was a very short post so hopefully shouldn’t have taken a lot of your time. I think the best use of time is to learn. Learn ways to make best use of your time, how to manage projects with minimum expertise and in minimum time. Research about alternatives. Learning from your mistakes is the BUMT.

BUMT can be summarized in one word, the will.

You may hear yourself make excuses. “I really want to change, but I’m too busy to do anything about it”, or, “I probably wont be any good at it anyway, so why.” Unfortunately it’s all too easy to make excuses to not get motivated.

I have a solution : Each day tell yourself you can and will succeed. Repeat this as often as you can. Make all your thoughts about you, and what you are going to achieve, positive.
If you stay determined and don’t give in you will definitely begin to feel a change in yourself and start to see an improvement in your life.

If your self talk self talk is positive you will reap the benefit in the way you desire.
